Permabond® A136 General Purpose Gasket Maker 50ml
Permabond® A136 is a high viscosity anaerobic resin paste designed for making medium strength 'formed in situ' gaskets between metal surfaces. Capable of replacing a wide range of conventional gasket materials, thereby offering the potential for reduced stock holdings of pre-shaped gaskets. By allowing a full surface to surface contact, load transmission can be improved. Because the gasket adhesive product does not shrink, creep or relax after curing, there are no shimmer effects and there is no requirement for later bolt retightening. The excellent chemical resistance of A136 allows it to be used in applications for sealing a wide variety of gases and liquids at a wide range of temperatures.
